Mitutoyo (UK)'s new KLL Counter has been introduced specifically to form part of a dedicated Digital Readout System for lathes.

Mitutoyo (UK)'s new KLL Counter has been introduced specifically to form part of a dedicated Digital Readout System for lathes and is designed to be used in conjunction with a linear scale to form a compact, affordable retrofittable DRO system.

The KLL Counter provides many convenient and easy-to-use functions including zero-setting, presetting, metric conversions and with a two scale data addition function, a total value of readings is displayed as a displacement on the z-axis.

It can store the offset values of a maximum of ten different kinds of tools in its memory, thereby eliminating time consuming data inputting when tools are changed.

The complementary AT115 Linear Scale is available in 20 different versions with ranges from 100mm to 1500mm and scale reference points at a 50mm pitch.

Datum points for machining are easily determined even after the power is switched off by using the reference point.

The KLL Counter can be connected via its optional RS232C interface unit to a personal computer.

Free fitting on two and three axis systems; subject to machine type (UK Mainland only).

Full technical information and advice on retrofitting is available.
