New series of metrology training courses

Mitutoyo (UK) has announced a new series of training courses for 2001 and beyond, to be held at its Institute of Metrology in Warwick or at any of its UK offices in Andover, Halifax and East Kilbride

Mitutoyo (UK) has announced a new series of training courses for 2001 and beyond These are held at its Institute of Metrology in Warwick or at any of its UK offices in Andover, Halifax and East Kilbride

Course are also available at customers' premises.

Over 30 different courses are available that cover the principles of dimensional metrology, profile/statistical process control software and application support.

All courses provide a certificate of attendance and can also be used to provide a recognised credit in Dimensional Metrology or Co-ordinate Measurement and Reverse Engineering through the nationally recognised Open College Network (OCN).

This in turn can contribute towards the NVQ qualification in dimensional metrology as part of the national Technical Service NVQ.

Courses available range from the Fundamentals of Precision Measurement, Geometric Tolerancing, Functional Calibration, an Introduction to SPC through to dedicated co-ordinate measurement courses and statistical/profile software.

Specialist calibration and measurement technique instruction includes an Introduction to National and International Standards as well as specialised courses on specific applications. Request free introductory details about products from Mitutoyo (UK) ...
