One of the latest innovations in Mitutoyo's extensive portfolio of gauges is the new IDC ABS Digimatic calculating indicator.
One of the latest innovations in Mitutoyo's extensive portfolio of gauges is the new IDC ABS Digimatic calculating indicator.
Whereas conventional dial gauges only indicate the travel of the spindle, the IDC calculates the desired results directly from the spindle path using the integrated calculation functions.
The unique multifunction indicator features an integrated Ax+B+Cx-1 calculating formula function, which coupled with special setting jigs, allows direct measurements of groove width, inside/outside diameters, distances etc without manual calculations.
A measuring range of 12.7mm, switchable resolution, and accuracy of 3um enables highly accurate measurement results to be gained.
Other features of this impressive gauge include the absolute function, direction change, imperial/metric conversion and an SPC output.
Ease of use is guaranteed with to a large clear LCD screen, together with a 330-degree rotatable bezel, making for clear accurate reading and operation, whatever the application.
