NEC San-ei has appointed Metrum Information Storage as its UK distributor for the long established range of Infrared Thermal Imaging Cameras.

NEC San-ei has appointed Metrum Information Storage as its UK distributor for the long established range of Infrared Thermal Imaging Cameras.

Metrum has a proven track record of delivering products and systems to agreed levels of cost and performance.

Combined with NEC San-ei's 30-year design and manufacturing experience in thermography, Metrum's customers can be assured that they will receive equipment specifically suited to their individual requirements.

Formerly the Test Instruments Division of Honeywell, Metrum has been distributing the NEC San-ei range of data acquisition equipment for over 13 years, and this long relationship between the two companies made Metrum the natural choice as the distributor for this range of leading edge technology products.

The most popular camera in the range is the Thermo Tracer 7102WX, a hand-held infrared camera, which is easily adaptable to a variety of different applications.

Featuring a compact, rugged, lightweight and cable free casing it is ideally suited to both the preventative maintenance and scientific markets.

Additional features, available as options, include Firewire real time data capture, and high-resolution close up lenses.

Supported by a range of software packages and accessories, the Thermo Tracer series offers a flexible solution yet possesses an ability to be expanded to fulfil evolving applications The Thermo Tracer 7102 uses the latest generation of uncooled microbolometer detectors to achieve exceptional thermal resolution, accurate temperature measurement and repeatability normally associated with more expensive, cooled detectors.

Long wavelength performance gives advantages to outside work, where the camera is immune to solar reflection, and to scientific applications where low temperature differentials can be achieved.

Temperature measuring ranges from -40øC to 500øC as standard, with a 100øC to 2000øC range option for high temperature applications.

A full training package covering product information, basic theory and system operation is provided on-site for all customers, focusing on the aspects of use that are of major importance to customer's specific applications.

To further support this commitment, full after sales care of all products is available, including service and repair, to the strict quality procedures as laid down in the company's ISO9001 qualification.
