event

Metalworking 2002 is the UK's leading exhibition for the metalforming and fabrication sector and is held every four years at the NEC in Birmingham.
For the first time, the exhibition is being organised by MTTA - The Machine Tool Technologies Association, on behalf of MMMA - The Metalforming Machinery Makers' Association.
Exhibits at Metalworking will include all the very latest technology and equipment including presses, press brakes, sheet metal forming machines, punching machines, tube bending and forming machines - as well as all the associated tooling and computer accessories and systems.
Just some of the confirmed exhibitors at Metalworking are Amada UK Ltd, LVD (UK) Ltd, Salvagnini Italia S.P.A.
and Joseph Rhodes Ltd.
Managing Director of Trumpf Ltd, Brian Lewis has great expectations from the exhibition: "Our stand at Metalworking is the biggest that the company has ever taken at a UK exhibition and we have every confidence that the exhibition will provide a boost for the UK metalworking industry".
Metalworking 2002 also plays an significant part in the marketing activities of Amada UK Ltd; General Manager, Alan Parrott commented: "Amada UK has chosen Metalworking 2002 to launch a range of completely new European manufactured products onto the UK and European marketplace, so the exhibition will be a very important event for our customers and our company".
Other exhibitions for manufacturing taking place at the same time as Metalworking are MACH in Halls 4 and 5, Subcon in Hall 1, and the Welding and Metal Fabrication Show, Engineering Lasers and Automation and Robotics all in Hall 2.
Visitors may walk through all six exhibitions with one ticket.
