MACH hits the right notes
Results from visitor entry and exit surveys at MACH 2004 show that 89% of respondents said that MACH showcased all the specific products or types of products in which they were interested.

Furthermore, a significant 78% of visitors surveyed said that they thought MACH should be held every two years, as is currently the case, and 78% also stated that MACH was the exhibition considered to be the most important for their business requirements.
The development of specific areas to showcase tooling, CAD/CAM and measurement and inspection also proved a success with 72, 72 and 74%, respectively, stating that they were aware of these areas before the event.
MTA Director General, Simon Brown, commented: "The results from the entry and exit surveys support the anecdotal evidence that we have received from exhibitors at the show".
"The vast majority of people are extremely pleased with the results of the show and the flood of member press releases to the MTA confirming orders generated at MACH proves that the good feeling around the event has materialised into sales for many of our exhibitors".
Another interesting statistic from the results highlights the fact that when some exhibitors are considering the cost: benefit ratio of exhibitions, 88% of respondents to the exit survey at MACH 2004 said that they thought that exhibitions are still either very useful or useful in assisting purchasing decisions.
