The MTA recruitment drive is in full swing, with three more companies being confirmed into membership last week, taking the total in the last month to five.

The Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA) recruitment drive is in full swing, with three more companies being confirmed into membership last week, taking the total in the last month to five.

Metool Products, in Nottingham, TaeguTec UK, in Leeds and Unimerco, based in Fradley, Staffordshire have all now joined the MTA.

Metool Products is an importer of cable carriers, cable reels, cable drag chains, slip-ring collector columns, energy chains and cable for dynamic applications.

TaeguTec is an importer of tooling products from its parent company in Korea.

Products include, carbide cutting tools, industrial wear parts and heavy alloy/tungsten powders.

The company develops an estimated 11,000 new products each year.

Unimerco is a provider of concept based optimised tooling solutions, comprising complete programmes of cutting tools, measuring tools and measuring machines and is based in a newly developed GBP 5 million purpose built manufacturing facility in Staffordshire.
