MACHplus aims to provide visitors to MACH with the opportunity to see the latest developments in related industry fields, without having to leave the exhibition halls.

To ensure that MACH 2006 will be a resounding success, the new team organising MACH commissioned visitor research about the 2004 show Sample groups of both visitors and absentees were interviewed by telephone to gauge their thoughts about the show and how it could be improved

The results of this exercise have led to several new developments to improve the show.

MACHplus is the first of these new initiatives, designed to give visitors more of what they want to see.

Five industries, closely related to manufacturing technologies have been identified and companies from these industries are being invited to exhibit at MACH for the first time.

The five industry sectors chosen are health and safety, materials handling, cleaning, hydraulics and pneumatics/compressed air and robotics and automation.

The aim of MACHplus is to provide visitors to MACH with the opportunity to see the latest developments in related industry fields, without having to leave the exhibition halls.

Having a wider range of products and services on display will make it easier for visitors to justify time away from their office to visit the show.

This ties into our ongoing work with exhibitors to highlight things that are new at the show to visitors.

Companies within MACHplus industries can find out more about exhibiting in clearly defined MACHplus areas through contacting Roger Kaye at the MTA.
