Survey confirms seasonal dip in orders
The latest MTA trends survey shows a dip in orders for the sector over the summer, but respondents expect a recovery in the final period of the year.
MACH organiser, the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA) is now on target to achieve its goal of selling 26,000m2 and attracting over 500 exhibitors to the show.
Graham Shearsmith, Exhibition Manager, commented: "I'm delighted with the response we are getting to our sales campaign, which has been focused on giving exhibitors the best deal possible from the start".
"Our latest change in this area is that we will be opening up a walkway at the back of Halls 4 and 5 to allow an even movement of people between the halls, rather than all the traffic having to use the stairs at the front of the halls".
There are now 360 confirmed exhibitors attending the 2006 show.
Up-to-date floor plans and a revised exhibitor list appear on the MACH 2006 Web-site every Friday afternoon.
