Madgetech releases Motion110 motion data logger

A MadgeTech product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jan 8, 2009

Madgetech's Motion110 motion data logger is a small recording device that senses motion and records date and time-stamped readings of movements.

It can measure and record up to 13,107 time-stamped events and consumes memory only when it senses motion.

The Motion110 is ideal for use in activity monitoring, animal habitat studies, occupancy studies and advertising interest monitoring.

It has up to a five-year battery life and contains non-volatile solid-state memory, which provides maximum security even if the battery becomes discharged.

The device makes data-retrieval quick and easy; it simply needs to be plugged into an empty COM or USB port and the user-friendly software does the rest.
