"Manufacturing excellence through automation and asset management", the three-day conference, training seminar, and technology showcase event, will be held on Teesside, close to the major petrochemical complexes of the North-East of England.
Drawing on the expertise of the event sponsors, Huntsman International, Aker Kvaerner, Emerson Process Management, Action Energy and the ISA England section, speakers will present their experience of current best practice in methods of improving plant efficiency, using the most modern techniques available.
Driving costs down, reducing down time, improving plant performance and monitoring asset condition has never been so important as in the competitive area facing plant engineers today.
The speakers will present their expertise and experience in improving process plant performance, by reducing costs, improving efficiency and reducing down time.
They will pool the knowledge from such companies as Shell, BP, Ineos, Huntsman, BASF, Novo Nordisk, Associated Octel and Solutia, and present papers in up to eight parallel streams - allowing delegates to choose those most relevant to their plant.
The streams include safety, energy efficiency, pharmaceuticals and batch chemicals, revamping and de-bottlenecking, connecting to corporate IT.
Full day training courses are available on the more popular topics.
Plus an exhibition of suppliers' capabilities, within the technology showcase, will allow visitors to see demonstrations of their ideas.
