Delegates can still register for the Manufacturing Excellence event in Teesside, for either one, two or three days.

For those attending the conference sessions on 30th April and 1st May, the conference dinner on Wednesday evening will present several different views of the processing industry.

Fred Dibnah will recount some of his more memorable exploits, no doubt demolishing a chimney near you.

Dr Ashok Kumar, MP for Middlesbrough South, will discuss the role of Government in the industry, with particular emphasis on the Teesside area.

Lastly, Barry Cryer will present his "point of view", which will no doubt carry on where his excellent presentation left off last year.

"Manufacturing excellence through automation and asset management" will provide a unique meeting point for engineers and managers throughout the process industry to meet and exchange views, stimulated by the experiences described in seven streams of lectures over the two-day period.
