Misumi Europa offers range of manual goniometers

A Misumi product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Aug 25, 2009

Misumi Europa, based in Schwalbach, Germany, provides manual goniometers in a variety of designs.

They can be used in the semi-conductor industry for making fine-tuning adjustments to the angular position range for tests and measurements in wafer production.

The goniometers are available with a dovetail or cross roller.

Models available include goniometers with one axis or two axes, with XY axis and a vertical or horizontal pivot range.

The tables range from 30mm x 30mm to 70mm x 122 mm in size, while the pivot axis heights vary accordingly.

Users can find the dimensions and detailed technical diagrams in the main Misumi catalogue - entitled 'Mechanical Standard Components for Factory Automation' - as well as in the Misumi 24/7 Web Ordering System.

Depending on the model, the brass material can be coated with black fluoroplastic or aluminium alloy and can be provided with a clear or black anodised finish.

The standard adjustment position is on the right-hand side, where the micrometer or fine-adjustment screws are used.

As an optional extra, the company can also provide models with the adjusting screw on the left-hand side at no extra cost.
