Welding unit suits thin metals

The Murex Autolynx 4i MIG sheet metal welding solution provides absolute control and consistency of all welding parameters.

The use of increasingly thin metals in many areas of fabrication, down to 0.5mm in thickness, places growing demands on the MIG welding operator and his or her equipment to provide high-quality joints The new pre-stressed and heat sensitive sheet metal fabrications demand absolute consistency and precise control of the welding arc

This requirement can be met with the Murex Autolynx 4i, which uses inverter technology in combination with electronic feedback control.

This MIG sheet metal welding solution provides absolute control and consistency of all welding parameters.

Highly mobile, weighing only 18kg, it can produce 160A at 40% duty and 100A continuously from a domestic type 240V 13A supply.

Using 0.8mm wire and CO2 shielding gas it can weld metal from, 5 to 0.5mm thick.

The Autolynx 4i runs 0.6 or 08mm mild or stainless steel welding wires and 1.0mm aluminium wires.

It is fully controllable remotely and is available in a package containing the 4i power source complete with gas hose and primary cable, MXE 15-30 3m MIG Torch and 3.5m work return.

Options include a reel cover kit and a 5m remote voltage and wire feed control unit. Request a free brochure from Murex Welding Products ...
