The Saffire 36ec conforms to the requirements of EN730 and offers comprehensive protection.
It has a pressure sensitive cut-off, is suitable for acetylene, propane, oxygen and hydrogen gases.

Murex also offers the Saffire XL flashback arrestor, a cylindrical flashback arrestor.
It has an advanced design giving a high flow rate.
Internally the XL is equipped with a large cylindrical flame-arresting element, an automatic reset, nonreturn valve and a heat-sensitive automatic cut-off.
The BCGA Code of Practice 7 was revised and re-issued for 2005.
