After a break of three years, MVTec Software has reappointed MultiPix Imaging as its exclusive distributor in the UK and Ireland.
MVTec Software has appointed MultiPix Imaging as the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for its machine vision software.
The company will also provide technical support for MVTec's Halcon and ActivVisionTools products.
Throughout the world, MVTec software users benefit from a high level of sales and technical support via local distributors.
As part of this strategy, MVTec has reappointed MultiPix as its distribution partner.
MultiPix had previously been MVTec's distribution partner for the UK and Ireland until 2005.
"The UK is one of the most outstanding industrial markets in the world", says Dr Olaf Munkelt, MVTec's Managing Director.
"Thus, MVTec wants to expand its sales activities in this market".
"We are sure that MultiPix will meet our requirements in the future in a same highly qualified and exceptional way as we already know it from the past".
The change in the distribution channel was carefully chosen to prepare for the launch of the new Halcon 9.0 version at the beginning of 2009.
Halcon 9.0 will offer dramatic performance increases, better usability, and completely new matching technologies.
