MVTec to showcase Halcon enhancements at Vision 09

MVTec is to showcase the features of Halcon 9.0 and enhancements of the 9.0.1 at Vision 2009 in Stuttgart, Germany.
Halcon 9.0 processes large images with more than 32 x 32k pixels and its automatic operator parallelisation, which dispatches the processing to multiple threads, was speeded up with version 9.0.
It also provides matching technologies that enable the finding of perspectively distorted objects.
The release of 9.0.1 boosted the systems' speed, and provides a silent installer, making it possible to install the Halcon runtime version under Windows without any user interaction.
Release 9.0.1 also enhances Halcon's integrated development environment, Hdevelop, with a 3D visualisation mode that is suited for interactively inspecting distance images.
MVTec will showcase examples in practice, including a 3D vision robot bin picking application and the updated Halcon GigE Vision interface for image acquisition.
