Threaded inserts are ideal for use in thin-gauge and softer materials including aluminium and zinc based alloys, providing excellent shock and vibration resistance.

Make Ends Meet has launched its own comprehensive range of threaded inserts available in both steel and stainless steel and with metric coarse, imperial (Whitworth), UNC and UNF threads Standard lengths are available from stock, and special lengths can also be supplied to customers' particular requirements

MEMFast threaded inserts are one piece fasteners threaded both internally and externally and are designed to repair damaged threads and produce new threads in a wide range of components.

They are very tough and durable due to their substantial wall thickness and can be used in castings, gearbox assemblies, sump pans and also thinner sections together with applications in general maintenance, repair and production.

There is no need for special tooling - just a standard machine screw with a head diameter greater than the insert's external thread diameter.

The inserts are ideal for use in thin-gauge and softer materials including aluminium and zinc based alloys, providing excellent shock and vibration resistance.

The new threaded inserts are multipurpose in that they can be used to produce new threads and to repair damaged threads.

They are available in steel with Cr3 clear plating (RoHS compliant) and stainless steel in natural finish.

Metric coarse threads (M4 to M18 internal and M6 to M22 external) are available together with imperial (Whitworth), UNC and UNF equivalents.
