Offered in a standard 19mm diameter, these AC-operated LVDTs units are ideal meet a variety of end-user and OEM requirements for machine tools, materials testing, industrial robots, checkweigher scales, packaging machinery, valve position sensing and hydraulic cylinder position.
Available in full-scale measurement ranges from +/-1.25 to +/-250mm, the PR 750 LVDTs offer a 0.75mm core-to-bore clearance with the standard core supplied.
Units feature excellent repeatability (error of less than 0.01% of FSO), high resolution and the highest sensitivity consistent with good linearity (maximum linearity error of +/-0.25% FRO).
Environmentally robust, the PR 750 Series of AC-LVDTs operate in temperature extremes of -55 to +105C.
Units incorporate glass-filled polymer coil forms for thermal stability and magnetically shielded stainless steel housings that reduce the effects of any external AC magnetic field.
External sealing meets IEC standard IP61.
A frictionless design also give these general purpose LVDTs unlimited mechanical life.
To meet a variety of application requirements, the PR 750 Series is offered with several standard options including Teflon bore liners, metric threaded cores and smaller diameter cores that enable an OEM to customise units to fit specific applications.
Units can also be constructed of materials resistant to mild nuclear radiation.
For OEMs, Macro Sensors can design and produce special PR 750 LVDTs with different lead wire colours, exit points, configurations, connectors as well as for higher temperature operation.
The PR 750 AC-LVDTs operate with any conventional differential input LVDT signal conditioners.
