Quality gains new recognition
Macro Sensors has received ISO9001:2000 certification at its Pennsauken, NJ manufacturing headquarters.
Macro Sensors has received ISO9001:2000 certification at its Pennsauken, NJ manufacturing headquarters.
ISO9001:2000 is the standard needed to assess a company's ability to meet customer and applicable regulatory requirements and, thereby, address customer satisfaction.
It replaces the old ISO9001:1994 quality management standards that are now considered obsolete by the ISO.
ISO9001:2000 is now the only standard in the ISO9000 family against which third-party certification can be carried.
"Macro Sensors updated the quality management systems throughout our manufacturing, sales and administration processes to achieve the new ISO9001:2000 requirements", states Lester Schaevitz, Macro Sensors Director of Sales and Marketing.
"While a lengthy process, it proves our commitment to providing top-quality products to our international customer base, while providing a standard by which customers and prospects can evaluate our operating procedures".
