The GHSE 750 line of 24V spring-loaded position sensors offer accurate position measurement in a variety of dimensional gauging applications.

New from Macro Sensors is the GHSE 750 line of 24V spring-loaded position sensors that offer accurate position measurement in a variety of dimensional gauging applications.

Available in ranges from 2.5 to 100mm, the maximum linearity error for a GHSE 750 Series sensor is 0.25% of full scale output.

Offered in a ready-to-use package for position measurements, the configuration of the GHSE 750 sensor supports longer range gauging applications.

Sensors consist of a spring-loaded shaft running in a precision sleeve bearing, which is connected to the core of an LVDT.

Because the core and coil are assembled into a spring-loaded assembly, the mechanical setup of the sensor into automated machinery is less complicated and more cost effective than other sensor configurations.

Constructed entirely of stainless steel, these hermetically sealed 19mm diameter sensors provide long service life in various industrial uses such as industrial gauging systems, electronic dial indicators, fabricated metal products gauging, materials testing apparatus as well as large shaft TIR measurement.

The coil windings are sealed against hostile environments to IEC standard IP68 and electrical termination is also made through a glass sealed axial connector.

Built-in electronics result in a position sensor that operates from inputs of 15-24V DC and generates a precalibrated 0-10V DC output.

The output from the GHSE 750 Series is designed to operate with most PLCs, digital indicators, A/D convertors, computer-based data processors and QC data collection systems.

Units can be operated directly from a typical PLC's 24V power, providing added convenience on the shop floor.

Pricing for the GHSE 750 series begins at $536.
