The Motorsport Academy has lined up a veritable "who's who" of F1 engineering to share their thoughts on world-class skills, training and employment at its inaugural Motorsport in Education conference, Silverstone, 10th-11th July.

They include resting Ferrari strategist and the man behind all Michael Schumacher's record 91 victories, Ross Brawn; the architect of Fernando Alonso's back to back world titles, Pat Symonds (Renault F1) and the legendary Patrick Head (WilliamsF1).

New speakers are joining the group every day and already include Frank Dernie (ex-Williams) and Sergio Rinland (ex-Arrows).

The itinerary includes a dinner at nearby Whittlebury Hall, where former Ford Motorsport Director and Stuart Turner will be the guest speaker.

The conference is timed to immediately precede the Formula Student competition (12th-15th July), which is taking place at Silverstone for the first time.

This will help ensure a truly international audience for the event, for which delegates from India and the USA are already signed up.

Motorsport in Education is aimed at all those interested and involved in the training, education and skills arena and developing these to world-class level.

It will demonstrate and discuss new developments and valuable opportunities linking motorsport to the education sector, and be of enormous potential value and relevance to related businesses, recruitment and training agencies and those directly involved with universities and colleges.

Director of the Motorsport Academy, Eric Newell said "We have secured an unbeatable line-up of world class speakers - without doubt the best brains in world motorsport".

"This is an unparalleled opportunity for businesses and educators to discover all the things they, their employees or students, need to know to maintain their competitive edge".

"We are confident of a sell out for this conference, so recommend people to book early!".
