Following customer demand from the wastewater and materials-handling industries, Mayr has expanded its EAS-HTL housed torque limiter range.

Following customer demand from the wastewater and materials-handling industries, Mayr has expanded its EAS-HTL housed torque limiter range The original four sizes in the range (IEC B5 71-100) have now been joined by three additional devices (IEC B5 63, 132 and 160/180), so that the range now covers torque ratings from 2 to 700Nm

All Mayr EAS-HTL housed torque limiters are fitted with the Mayr EAS-NC or EAS compact backlash free torque limiting clutches which guarantee immediate drive disengagement in the event of a torque overload.

Re-engagement is automatic once the overload condition has passed.

Optional features include: AC or DC proximity sensors; synchronous single position auto reset; and complete disengage/manual-re-engage EAS clutches.
