Shaft couplings extend to 5000Nm
The innovative Roba-DS series of torsionally rigid backlash-free shaft couplings has two new sizes covering nominal torque ranges to 3000 and 5000Nm, respectively.
Mayr has increased the range of the innovative Roba-DS series of torsionally rigid backlash-free shaft couplings with the addition of two new sizes covering the nominal torque range to 3000 and 5000Nm, respectively.
The Roba-DS range of couplings offer the machine designer a series of maintenance-free backlash-free flexible shaft couplings for pump, dynamometer, test machinery, machine tool and printing machinery applications.
The couplings feature: all-steel construction; high torsional rigidity; extremely high alternating torque capability; hub to shaft connection options including keyway, clamping hub an shrink disc; correction for axial, angular and radial shaft misalignments; high temperature tolerance; high speed capabilities; standard stock spacer sleeves; eight stock sizes to 5000Nm nominal torque capacity; hub bores from 30 to 110mm; and the option of customer specific designs.
Mayr Roba-DS torsionally rigid couplings are manufactured from high-grade materials (hubs, flanges and sleeves are phosphatised against rust) and can be supplied in component form to suit customer-specific application requirements.
