EAS-NC torque-limiting clutches are specifically designed for use on power transmission applications where high performance together with drive rigidity and low inertia are prerequisites.

EAS-NC torque-limiting clutches are specifically designed for use on power transmission applications where high performance together with drive rigidity and low inertia are prerequisites.

A patented feature ensures that the EAS-NC has backlash free torque transmission and, together with special pressure springs, gives constant and precise torque decrease in the event of an overload in the drive train or machine.

The EAS-NC torque-limiting clutch was initially designed for use on CNC machine tools for limiting the transmission of force from the lead screw to the servomotor in the event of collision due to programming or operating errors.

Nine sizes of EAS-NC clutch can be supplied for both ratchetting (multiple position auto-reset) and synchronous (single position auto-reset) applications, covering the torque range 0.5-2400Nm.
