According to Mayr Transmissions, the EAS-Sp is the culmination of more than 40 years of experience in the design, manufacture and application of torque-limiting clutches.
According to Mayr Transmissions, the EAS-Sp is the culmination of more than 40 years of experience in the design, manufacture and application of torque-limiting clutches for every conceivable requirement.
The pneumatically controlled unit answers the high demands of the printing and packaging industry, and includes: remote torque control via 1.5-6bar pressure; continuously controllable and variable torque; high start up and low running torque; suitability for on/off clutching; backlash free torque transmission; synchronous, single-position reset; an integral proximity sensor; maintenance-free nonfretting components; a choice of shaft-flange/shaft-flexible coupling variants; seven sizes covering a torque range from 4 to 2500Nm; and bore sizes to 95mm.
