Torsionally rigid couplings handle
higher torques
The Roba-DS coupling series meets the requirements of rotating plant and equipment manufacturers where maintenance-free high-performance torque transmission is required.
Mayr Transmissions has extended its Roba-DS torsionally rigid coupling range up to 22,000Nm, maintaining the patented cone seating arrangement between flexible disc and hub flange ,ensuring backlash free torque transmission, high torque capacity, high impact and alternating torques together with minimum size A major advantage of the maintenance free Mayr Roba-DS coupling is that it maintains zero backlash up to the permissible nominal and alternating coupling torque capacity The Roba-DS coupling series offer an advantageous size/price/performance ratio to meet the requirements of rotating plant and equipment manufacturers where maintenance-free high-performance torque transmission is required

Shaft couplings extend to 5000Nm
The innovative Roba-DS series of torsionally rigid backlash-free shaft couplings has two new sizes covering nominal torque ranges to 3000 and 5000Nm, respectively.
The Roba-DS size 2200 increases the capacity range upward to 22,000Nm nominal and alternating torque.
The coupling is available as either a single flexible disc or double flexible disc with various spacer sleeve lengths.
Hubs are available with bores and keyways or with keyway-less cone bushing arrangement up to 180mm bore.
