Flexible shaft couplings provide high torque capacities, low weight and compact overall dimensions.
Added to the range of flexible shaft couplings from Mayr Transmissions is the TSChan B Xxtreme Torque series of high torque couplings.
The couplings provide high torque capacities, low weight and compact overall dimensions.
Available in 10 sizes covering the torque range 10,500 to 260,000Nm, with hub bores to 360mm, the couplings are for use in medium and high torque applications where torsionally flexible couplings are required to dampen any damaging torsional vibrations and impacts inherent in the drive line or production process.
The optimised coupling claw geometry with the radially removable elastomeric buffers ensure a long reliable working life for the coupling even under the harsh conditions that can be found in the steel, iron and materials handling industries.
The radially removable buffers are oil and temperature resistant and available in two types of elastomer with hardness to suit the torsional requirements of the application.
