Rigid couplings offer increased torque capacity

A Mayr Transmissions product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Apr 19, 2007

Roba - DS HT Couplings offer a higher torque capacity per size than competing designs, with hub bores to 110mm.

Mayr Antriebstechnik have further developed the Roba - DS Torsionally Rigid Coupling range with the new HT (High Torque) series .

The new Roba - DS HT couplings have a 60% increase in torque capacity over the comparable HF design.

Available in 6 sizes covering the nominal torque range to 2600Nm , the Roba - DS HT Couplings offer a higher torque capacity per size than competing designs, with hub bores to 110mm.

The Roba - DS HT Couplings are completely backlash-free up to the catalogue nominal torque capacity due to the steel disc pack to hub connection and have a high torsional stiffness commensurate with misalignment capability .

An all-steel construction ensures a long, maintenance-free working life.

The low inertia Roba - DS HT couplings are ideal for high-speed, high torque capacity applications.

Roba - DS HT couplings are available with steel or carbon fibre spacer sleeves depending on the application requirements.

A variety of hub - shaft connections are available including bore/keyway, and a backlash-free shrink disc.
