myVR Software has released Version 1.4 of the myVR SDK, which allows functionality for secure high-resolution/high-speed real-time interactive streaming/viewing for 3D/VR models over any network to be incorporated into other applications.
myVR Software has worked closely with several major industry vendors in the oil and gas and construction industry over the last 2 years to solve the continuously increasing problem of effective distribution of 3D models over any network while safeguarding corporate intellectual property, and offer viewing at high resolution and speed.
The innovative patent-pending technology from myVR Software allows users to quickly generate and distribute large 3D models at high speed and high resolution across any network even with limited bandwidth (Edge, 3G, low speed (A)DSL etc).
The myVR SDK provides a flexible and powerful solution for developers who want to maximise creative productivity and application performance when creating or incorporating 3D VR distribution technology into their own applications.
Developer productivity is greatly enhanced by offering a ready to use toolkit with fully documented sample code that makes integration or application creation quick and easy.
The myVR SDK allows users to add powerful 3D viewing and distribution capabilities for any application type or area of choice.
The myVR SDK supports a wide variety of platforms/operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, Linux, Sun, Apple Macintosh etc, and is completely GUI agnostic.
Users can employ any UI or widget toolkit of preference as long as it's capable of creating an OpenGL context.
