New managing director for Nadella UK
Coventry-based bearing company, Nadella UK, has appointed Dave Barker (51) to the position of Managing Director.

A new range of linear bushings with unique polyamide end rings, for precision, press-fit mounting, has been launched in the UK by Nadella UK of Coventry.
Dave's appointment is his second board-level position at Nadella, having previously served the company as sales-and-marketing director from 1995 to 1999.
He originally joined Torrington, with an HND in mechanical engineering, in 1975 as a sales engineer and remained with the company until he was promoted to Sales Manager at Nadella in 1985.
Following his appointment, Dave paid tribute to Nadella's previous managing director, Vic Shayler.
He said: "Vic's contribution to Nadella's growth has been considerable.
He has developed a highly-motivated team whose commitment to customer care has been a primary factor in the company's success; it is my intention to build on Vic's achievements.
I look forward to facing the challenges that lie ahead, ensuring that the company continues to grow and provide its customers with the best possible products and services.".
