O'Mara will include NanoHorizons' SmartSilver anti-odour and antimicrobial system in its Eco-Fil yarn product family.

Eco-Fil is the only filament yarn made from 100% post-consumer bottles.

Eco-Fil delivers a soft, colour-fast product without depleting the earth's natural resources, without herbicides or pesticides and without extensive energy use.
Eco-Fil is used in designer clothing lines, home furnishing products, and is increasingly popular among outdoor apparel manufacturers.
SmartSilver delivers the permanent and highly antimicrobial power of pure silver, without forcing designers seeking anti-odour performance to compromise in other areas, such as dye performance, hand, stretch, durability, or manufacturability.
SmartSilver additives are engineered to be easily used in existing textile manufacturing equipment to evenly disperse anti-odour SmartSilver that forms permanent bonds with fibre structures ranging from natural cotton and wool to rayon, polyester, nylon, and polypropylene.
