Sheffield students welcome new career
options
The first MasMicro Gender Awareness Local Event took place earlier this month at the "Hot Metal, Cool Future" careers event held at Sheffield Hallam FM Arena.
The first MasMicro Gender Awareness Local Event took place earlier this month at the "Hot Metal, Cool Future" careers event held at Sheffield Hallam FM Arena The event invited 5000 students ranging in age from 13 to those in higher education and enabled young people to come face to face with potential employees, along with organisations like NAMTEC which was able to advise on current research and development activities and how these are shaping the future

The event was a great way of raising the awareness to students (in particular female students) of careers in engineering, manufacturing and metal sectors.
