Namtec (National Metals Technology Centre) has announced that it will feature a stand at the Stainless Steel World Conference and Exhibition 2009, in Maastricht, from 10-12 November.

Visitors to the event will be able to find out more about the services offered by the Special Metals Forum (SMF) and the Titanium Information Group (TIG), including the benefits of membership of both organisations.

The SMF is an international organisation specifically for companies involved in the manufacturing and processing of metals and for users of those metals.

The SMF provides support services for its members, including access to market intelligence, technology and the very latest research and development techniques, as well as training courses, all in a bid to aid innovation, competitiveness and productivity.

TIG is an organisation of suppliers, design engineers and fabricators to the titanium industry, which provides support and information on material cost, availability, as well as fabrication techniques and the usage of titanium and its alloys.

The organisation also provides up-to-date technical and commercial information to the industry.
