DIAdem makes it easy to manage, analyse and report on data collected during data acquisition or generated during simulations.
The PXI-8464 software-selectable interface is a universal CAN board that communicates to high-speed, low-speed/fault-tolerant and single-wire networks through a single port.
With this capability, engineers can use a single interface for several types of tests, which reduces development costs and speeds time to market.
In addition to the universal interface, NI now offers connectivity to single-wire CAN networks through the PXI-8463 single-wire CAN board.
Additionally, all NI CAN hardware now includes expanded synchronisation, increased functionality and improved performance.
The PCMCIA-CAN card now shares timing and triggering signals, which makes the entire family capable of CAN/data acquisition (DAQ) synchronisation for CAN device validation and data logging.
Furthermore, the addition of the Philips SJA1000 CAN controller and new physical layers brings enhancements to the NI CAN line support functions such as sleep mode, wake-up mode, listen-only mode and echo mode.
The NI CAN line also improves CANbus performance by allowing up to 100% busload at up to 1Mbit/s.
NI CAN interfaces ship with the new NI-CAN 2.1 driver software.
This includes configuration tools that provide access to vector database files so engineers can easily convert raw CAN data to engineering units.
NI-CAN 2.1 integrates seamlessly with NI LabView 7 Express with an easy-to-use application programming interface (API), bus monitor utility and more than 40 example programs. Request a free brochure from National Instruments ...
