Automation engineers and machine builders can now choose from four National Instruments high-performance motion controller boards for PCI-based integrated motion data acquisition applications.

The NI PCI-7350 series boards offer stepper and servo motion control, various axis configurations and general-purpose digital and analogue I/O suitable for machine control applications such as semiconductor manufacturing or automated component testing.

The NI PCI-7352, NI PCI-7354, NI PCI-7356 and NI PCI-7358 boards offer two-, four-, six- and eight-axis options.

Engineers in need of high-performance stepper and servo motion controllers can choose the number of axes required for their applications and reduce the cost of their motion control setups by not purchasing unnecessary axes.

Each PCI-7350 series board features eight 16bit analogue inputs and 64 digital I/O lines and is designed to handle a wide variety of machine control applications that may otherwise require multiple boards.

With 4MHz position triggers, the PCI-7350 series boards are ideal for triggering NI data acquisition boards at high speeds in applications requiring high-performance timing with data acquisition or machine vision.

Engineers can program PCI-7350 series boards using NI Motion Assistant, LabView, LabWindows/CVI, Measurement Studio for Microsoft Visual Basic, C and C++.
