ICE-flow GlyphWorks data analysis software provides a graphical, process-oriented environment that enables engineers to rapidly extract useful information from vast amounts of measured data.
Stuttgart sees launch of fatigue analyser
Next generation fatigue analysis product to be launched at this year's Automotive Testing Exhibition in Stuttgart from 9th to 11th May.
nCode, the leading supplier of end-to-end systems for the collection, analysis and management of engineering data, has developed DesignLife to provide sophisticated analysis functionality within an intuitive graphical environment - suitable for both advanced and general users.
Fatigue specialists will like the sophisticated analysis features - such as the ability to intelligently reduce complex areas of the design for more detailed analysis, performing multiple analyses in a single run, or linking into external programs for custom analyses, such as design optimisation.
General users will like the way that the analysis is built up graphically and that they can use pre-defined processes established by others.

Acquisition systems come with upgrade offer
Existing SoMat 2100 users are encouraged to trade in their units for SoMat eDAQ or eDAQ-Lite data acquisition systems.
Analysis software handles huge datasets
GlyphWorks 4.0 is an easy-to-use environment that enables engineers to interactively build and run analytical processes on huge multichannel datasets.
Managers will like the process repeatability, enhanced reporting which shortens the time to get to a decision, and the way that the test and CAE environments are integrated and streamlined for better group efficiency.
The easy to use interface enables advanced users to develop the most sophisticated workflow process from raw data input to automatic report generation in a fraction of the time it used to take; once developed these processes can be encapsulated for other, nonspecialists to just pick up and use.
DesignLife is compatible with the leading finite element codes and post-processors, enabling the seamless exchange of data with systems such as Nastran, Ansys and Abaqus.
DesignLife is a module of the nCode ICE-flow system, which also integrates data acquisition, data handling and process management in a web-enabled environment.
nCode Chairman, Brian Dabell, says: "DesignLife addresses some of the most pressing issues facing the automotive and other high-performance product development industries today: the need to bring better products to market faster - and to do so with an ever-reducing team of engineers".
"DesignLife streamlines the workflow from the test department for loads analysis and processing, and the Analysis department for model preparation and lifetime estimation".
"Uniquely, DesignLife shows the entire workflow from end-to-end, and in trials some customers reported a 90% reduction in time in certain key areas".
