Acquisition systems come with upgrade offer

A nCode International product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Aug 16, 2006

Existing SoMat 2100 users are encouraged to trade in their units for SoMat eDAQ or eDAQ-Lite data acquisition systems.

nCode has announced an innovative programme for its SoMat 2100 field computer system users.

The SoMat 2100, in production for decades, has an established reputation as a rugged and compact data acquisition system.

However, nCode has now ceased production of the product and existing SoMat 2100 users are encouraged to trade in their units for SoMat eDAQ or eDAQ-Lite data acquisition systems.

For SoMat 2100 users who trade in their systems toward the purchase of either a SoMat eDAQ-Lite or eDAQ, nCode will offer a $500 or $750 nCodestore.com credit voucher, respectively.

This voucher can be used to purchase additional accessories with your upgraded unit.

Vouchers can be redeemed via nCode's website.

nCode will continue to repair and service SoMat 2100 equipment through its customer service division.

However, all remaining inventory will be sold on a first-come first-served basis and will also be available through nCodestore.com.

"The SoMat 2100 has served the test and data acquisition community since the mid-1980s", says Chad Larson, nCode's Test and Measurement Product Manager.

"It gained the reputation as the standard in rugged mobile data acquisition and there are 6,000+ 2100 Systems in the field worldwide".

"They are used in a variety of industries from mountain bike manufacturers to NASA where it is used on each Space Shuttle mission".

"We encourage our SoMat 2100 customers to take advantage of this programme and upgrade their data acquisition systems".
