NDC Infrared Engineering has appointed Peter Copsey as Operations Director.

NDC Infrared Engineering has appointed Peter Copsey as Operations Director The appointment is part of the company's commitment to maintain worldwide recognition for the supply of accurate, reliable, sensors and systems and outstanding global support

Copsey's decision to join NDC Infrared Engineering follows a long and distinguished career in the manufacturing industry spanning more than 20 years where he has held positions with major companies including the Alcatel Group and Smiths Industries.

Most recently, Copsey worked for Whitecroft Lighting where he began as Manufacturing Manager before taking on the position of Operations Director in 1999.

During this time Copsey was involved in a successful management buyout.

Responsible for the production and customer care/service teams, Copsey will play a prominent role in leading quality.

Copsey will work with suppliers in the manufacturing process to develop systems focused on the specific needs of customers.

Copsey was enticed by the opportunity to play a major role in establishing NDC Infrared Engineering's UK headquarters in Maldon as the pan-European centre for service and to maintain and develop further the company's number one market position in both systems and sensors.
