New catalogue covers geaboxes and inverters

Nord Gear has released an updated version of its 'Fixed Speeds' catalogue, which covers not only the company's range of gearboxes but also its frequency inverters

Nord Gear, the international manufacturer of high-performance gearboxes, gearmotors and associated drive electronics, has released an updated version of its 'Fixed Speeds' catalogue, G1000/01, which now includes many new and enhanced products.

The catalogue clearly delineates Nord's range of gearboxes, including helical, helical-shaft mounting, helical-bevel, worm and helical-worm gearboxes.

In the shaft mounting range is the new cost effective SK 0182 NB double stage geared motor and the high output 90,000 Nm SK 12382 geared motor.

The G1000/01 catalogue now includes brief details of Nord's range of frequency inverters, including the new SK 700 E range which, with its multitude of changeable interface cards and customer control units, offers extreme flexibility.

Many of the catalogue's explanatory notes have been revised and updated and now feature much more information on subjects as fundamental as gearbox selection and as specialised as operation in tropical regions.

This wealth of technical information has also been reorganised in order to make the catalogue even more user friendly.
