New machine controller control software goes 3D
Operators of machines can now see the job in 3D views to watch the progress and can also Edit the job/part program without having to go back to the original CAD system or job program software.

WinAMC provides a set of switches, buttons and icons to arrange into a virtual control panel and monitor the work of the North East Electronics AMC family of controllers.
When creating a virtual control panel, a choice of side, end, plan and isometric views can be chosen.
One or all of these views can be used to help the operator "see" the job in progress.
This addition greatly enhances the concept of providing panels to suit the level and ability of the operators.
WinAMC features allow great flexibility in designing a panel to match the application.
All the features and functions of the AMC controllers can be displayed.
This gives complete customisation to suit and match the machine or process being controlled.
WinAMC allows OEM's and System builders the opportunity to design panels to look as part of their machine in terms of colours, names and logo's (the latter by importing their own designs as bitmaps).
Through WinAMC the operator can select the job to be used, send it to the AMC control and monitor the job's progress.
These jobs can now be edited in notepad or WinWord without the need to go back to the package that originally generated the program.
WinAMC gives an easy method of opening the currently selected job and editing it by using the new "open editor" button feature.
New program lines and the editing of existing lines can now be undertaken.
