Fastener focus pays off for expanded exhibition

A Fastening and Assembly Solutions product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Feb 22, 2008

Fastening exhibition will be the biggest ever at the RAF Museum Cosford, offering more fastening solutions to engineering design, production and manufacturing professionals.

Growth in UK manufacturing is not just talk - fastener suppliers are voting with their feet toward Fastening and Assembly Solutions Exhibition in April - the UK's only fastening and assembly exhibition for manufacturing industry, which has just sold out for the second time in weeks.

With all the original space sold well in advance of the event, organiser NewbyCom has recently expanded the floor plan and has now filled the additional space.

This means that the 30th April exhibition will be the biggest ever at the RAF Museum Cosford venue, offering more fastening solutions to engineering design, production and manufacturing professionals than ever before.

Organiser Mark Newby comments: "I am especially pleased that exhibitors are seeing the benefit of the very focused format our show offers and am sure this will translate into a hugely worthwhile event for increasing numbers of visitors".

Thousands of variations of fasteners, fastening methods and assembly technologies may be seen at the event, catering for all material types and all industrial applications.

Experts from the key suppliers will be on hand to discuss specific challenges, and OEM engineers are invited to bring their drawings or samples with them to the event for free "on the spot" examination, analysis, evaluation and recommendations.

With more companies exhibiting than ever before and widely acknowledged growth driving development issues we are sure that visitors will not be disappointed whether their application calls for a mechanical fastener, a fixing system, an adhesive or an ingenious new approach to assembly.

The event takes place on 30th April 2008 and is open from 1000 to 1500.

VIP visitors (manufacturing professionals) qualify for a free luncheon and free refreshments.

Exhibition entry is free.

Free parking is also available, as is entry to the outstanding RAF Museum, which includes the award-winning new Cold War hangar.
