500 fasteners unveiled at show

A Fastening and Assembly Solutions product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jul 1, 2008

The Fastening and Assembly Solutions Exhibition is the only UK show for OEMs seeking to improve their fastening practices.

More than 500 new fasteners were on show at the Fastening and Assembly Solutions Exhibition.

NewbyCom, the show's organiser, is now predicting that even more will be revealed for the first time at the next event which takes place at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham, on 23rd October.

"Every single one of the hundreds of new fasteners seen at this show has a history behind it" said NewbyCom MD Mark Newby.

"And often that history includes an end user, usually an OEM, approaching a supplier and asking if specific enhancements can be made to an existing product".

"Unsurprisingly, once these changes have been made and trialled, the suppliers find that they have a new proposition on their hands that could be good news in a variety of applications outside of the one it was originally designed for".

The Fastening and Assembly Solutions Exhibition is the only UK show for OEMs seeking to improve their fastening practices.

Qualifying pre-registered visitors receive a free pass to visit the motorcycle museum, as well as a complimentary luncheon, served in the Manxman Suite.

Show entry is free, as is parking at the venue.
