Fastening exhibition to deliver more choice

A Fastening and Assembly Solutions product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Aug 11, 2008

The forthcoming Fastening and Assembly Solutions Exhibition in October already has the biggest number of exhibitors ever seen at the event.

Design engineers planning their next project may well be looking a long way ahead to solve problems involving fasteners or assembly systems.

This consistent need to problem-solve is at the heart of the Fastening and Assembly Solutions Exhibition philosophy.

According to organiser Mark Newby "We know that engineers are constantly coming across problems in bringing new developments to fruition - that is why we hold our exhibitions only six months apart, in April and October".

"The forthcoming event at the National Motorcycle Museum provides the best possible opportunities for manufacturing professionals to find solutions face to face".

The show organisers recognise that whether you're in a design, production or manufacturing management environment, overcoming fastening problems can sometimes take an undue amount of time.

Their successful format encourages visitors to bring their drawings and/or product samples along and have them appraised at first hand by the best experts in the business.

"It isn't just a great way to get some immediate resolution - it is also the quickest too".

"You can expect to meet with, and talk to, expert after expert exhibitors who have almost certainly been where you are now with your project at sometime in the past".

"They do it for a living and you'll be surprised at how many fellow engineers you will see there talking to them over drawings, prototypes or preproduction samples", says organiser NewbyCom.

Experience shows there are plenty of experts to talk to at the Fastening and Assembly Solutions Exhibitions: the forthcoming show in October already has the biggest number of exhibitors ever seen at the event.

Mechanical fasteners, press joining, clinching, riveting, self-pierce fastening, adhesive tapes, adhesives, hinges, handles, latches, locks, threaded fasteners, threaded inserts, inserts for plastics, plastic fasteners, hook and loop closures, fireproof closures, vibration-safe fasteners, locking devices, aerospace and automotive fasteners: just a handful, but with such a wide range of products coupled with the most experienced technical advice in the UK, an answer to your fastening or assembly needs surely lurks here somewhere.

The Fastening and Assembly Solutions Exhibition takes place at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham, on 23rd October 2008, and is open for problem-solving from 1000 to 1500 GMT.

The biggest and most experienced names in the field of fastening and assembly head a glittering portfolio of exhibitors who between them probably have the answers you need.

Qualifying visitors who register in advance also have the advantage of a complimentary luncheon and free motorcycle museum pass (while stocks last), making the fastening problem-solving process a little more civilised.

Located immediately adjacent to the NEC on the M42 roundabout at Junction 6, parking is plentiful, free, and right outside the exhibition entrance door.

Show entry is also free.
