Two new industrial computers in Nematron e-Series
Nematron, a leading designer and manufacturer of industrial automation solutions, introduces two new members of its e-Series family of Industrial Control Computers.
Nematron, a leading designer and manufacturer of industrial automation solutions, introduces two new members of its e-Series family of Industrial Control Computers.
The ICC-600e (12.1" TFT display) and the ICC-800e (15" TFT display) feature touch-only control and are ideal for customers requiring a cost-effective industrial PC without an integral keypad.
With the e-Series family, Nematron continues its successful design tradition of offering studless mounting and a hinged two-piece design.
This design assures easy computing platform and display removal and maintenance without having to remove any internal cables.
Like all Nematron industrial computer products, the e-Series is designed to withstand harsh industrial environments such as heat, cold, oil, water, dirt, and rough treatment.
Shock and vibration specs for these flash-based computers far exceed those of standard industrial computers.
Expansion slots are oriented so that external connections are made vertically on the bottom of the chassis, significantly easing cable routing and reducing cabinet requirements.
The e-Series offers resistive touchscreens, PCI expansion, and a selection of Intel processors ranging from 433 MHz Celeron to 850 MHz Pentium III.
In addition to standard hard drives, all e-Series models can also use PCMCIA flash memory as a storage option, making them the preferred platform for embedded solutions.
