Computers handle hazardous locations
ePC industrial computers are equipped with 100-240V AC input power supplies, have NEMA 4/4x/12 panel-mountable front panels and are less than 75mm deep when panel mounted.
Fanless embedded PCs suit varied applications
The EP1016 offers a 10.4in, 256k colour SVGA resistive touch screen display with 800 x 600 resolution under an IP65 aluminium front bezel.
The PC-based Ladder Logic Editor makes it easier for manufacturers and OEMs to realise the benefits of switching to PC-based control by offering programming options familiar to PLC users.
The addition of HyperKernel support for Microsoft Windows 2000 allows manufacturers to keep current with the commercial market, leveraging the large IT investment to the plant floor.
Nematron's PC-based Ladder Logic Development System is designed for performance, reliability, and flexibility.
Performance and reliability are ensured because ladder programs run under HyperKernel, Nematron's proven hard real-time subsystem for Microsoft Windows NT and 2000.
Flexibility is achieved through an extensive instruction set built on IEC-61131 standards and the ability to run ladder programs concurrently with programs written in Nematron's Visual Flowcharting and visual Process Control Languages.
The new ladder logic capabilities make it easier for plants to support legacy PLC systems while migrating to a more efficient, open-architecture control system.
The new Ladder Logic System also has several features designed to reduce programming and debugging time.
Programmers build ladder diagrams visually with a Windows-standard user interface.
The product features a colour-coded, live debugger with high-speed watch windows along with trace and data logging features.
This rich feature set results in the most effective application validation environment available in the marketplace.
An integral part of Nematron's PC-based control solution, ladder supports other features that users have come to expect including on-line changes, a common database, and support for common I/O networks.
