Nematron Europe is expanding its industrial computing business into the embedded PC platform sector, with components from board level up to integrated systems.

The Acrosser Technology partnership will deliver embedded PC, vehicle computing platforms and network appliance solutions to the UK market.

Nematron Europe is set to market the entire Acrosser range, including 3.5-inch Biscuit SBCs, Mini-ITX, EPIC, ATX/ LPX, PC/104, along with embedded systems such as the R-ES0831FL in-vehicle technology.

David Hicks, Managing Director of Nematron's International Business said: "We have been in business since 1983 and industrial computer design and development is at the core of our company".

"The new business strategy perfectly complements our traditional 'complete system' approach and we are delighted to partner with Acrosser Technology as we share very similar history and values in the industrial computing market".

"Acrosser Technology's 100% vibration test and burn-in test approach to product quality is a key to meeting the high reliability demands of today's industrial, commercial and mobile application customer".

"As a major industrial PC solution provider Nematron needs flexibility and an extensive technology pool to draw from in order to meet growing and varied customer needs, both in the design of our standard products and custom integration.

"Combining the creative board level capabilities of Acrosser with our own technological and manufacturing skills brings a new dynamic to Nematron".

Nematron Europe will support the entire Acrosser embedded PC product range for in-vehicle platforms, industrial automation and networking systems.
