Recruiter raises cash for BBC appeal
Specialist recruitment company NES International has donated money raised throughout the year to the BBC Children in Need Appeal.
NES International - the specialist technical, engineering, rail and IT recruitment company - has donated money raised throughout the year to the BBC Children in Need Appeal, held in November.
Over GBP 500 was raised towards the charity's current tally of over GBP 17 million by staff based at the Manchester Head Office, who took part in various activities throughout the year, contributing nominal amounts - all in a good cause.
Lisa Young, at NES, who received an official confirmation certificate from the appeal says: "Some people put the money they raise from their activities towards the work's Christmas party, but we thought it would be put to much better use this way".
"These kids really count on the generosity of others and especially this year with all the talk of 'donation fatigue' it's important that they get the help they need".
