Following user experience research carried out by the NES Group, further improvements are due to me made to its website framework.

The enhancements, which are due to go live in the first week of 2006 include: the introduction of discipline-specific newsletters; a streamlined application process and further candidate career information.

The launch of a specialist surveying micro site to accompany the existing network is also scheduled for January, with content and vacancies relating specifically to surveying professions.

Says Matthew Cody, Marketing Manager at NES: "We launched the site in 2004 and now have around 17,000 unique visitors per month and over 1400 live vacancies at any one time so it's absolutely essential that we keep the information on the site up to date".

"This is why we have used feedback from site visitors as guidance for improvements and why I am sure that regular users as well as newcomers will be impressed with what we have to offer".
