Lanigan takes over purse strings
NES Group - the specialist technical, engineering, rail and IT recruitment company - has appointed Phil Lanigan as Group Finance Director.

Having qualified at PWC in Manchester, Lanigan worked in audit before leaving the profession for industry, with his most recent appointment as Finance Director at engineering consultancy services group, NNC.
After overseeing its expansion into new territories and markets, he had full responsibility for preparing the company for sale to Amec plc, a transaction which completed in July 2005.
Lanigan holds an economics degree from Durham University and ACA and ATII qualifications.
Speaking from the Head Office in Manchester, Neil Tregarthen, CEO commented: "With experience of working in a private equity environment, M and A and good sector knowledge, Phil has the kind of track record that will prove invaluable to the future development of the NES Group".
"As we move further into our financial year we anticipate profits growing by circa 30% for the second year in succession and in order to keep that performance going, we need to ensure we continually improve our staff team".
